A Portarlington man faces 48 charges following a series of burglaries across the Bellarine Peninsula.
Geelong Tasking and Crime Intervention Taskforce arrested the 22-year-old man on Tuesday alleging he was involved in 11 burglaries in Portarlington and Indented Head from March to June.
Police charged the man with aggravated burglary, arson, 11 counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary, nine counts of theft, 11 bail offences, 11 counts of criminal damage and two drug offences.
He was remanded in custody and appeared in Geelong Magistrates’ court this morning.
