An alleged teen crime spree and high-speed pursuit came to an end after police intercepted a car on the Geelong Ring Road on Wednesday morning.
Police intercepted an allegedly-stolen BMW at 11.15am following a pursuit from Hastings to Geelong, and arrested a 14-year-old Dandenong boy, a 17-year-old Cranbourne boy and a 17-year-old Cranbourne West girl soon after.
The teenagers were allegedly seen getting out of a stolen Audi and into the blue BMW sedan in Hastings just after 10am.
The Audi was one of two cars reported stolen from an aggravated burglary on Lemon Road, Balwyn North, overnight while the BMW was reported stolen from a Braeside car dealer on Tuesday evening.
The driver of the BMW refused to stop when officers initially attempted to intercept him and sped off, police alleged.
The driver then travelled on the Monash Freeway, the Westgate Freeway and the Princes Freeway before police intercepted the BMW at Fyansford.
Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives expect to charge the three teenagers following the alleged thefts and high-speed pursuit.
Several units and a police helicopter took part in the pursuit, which resulted in no harm to other motorists or officers, police said.
Investigators urged anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or with dashcam footage to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
