13-year-old disappears in Geelong

A 13-year-old girl from Rye who went missing on Sunday could be in Geelong, according to police.

Police on Monday evening released an image of missing teen Hayli Henare who was last seen on Liston St, Bell Post Hill, about 12pm.

They described her as about 155cm tall with black shoulder-length hair, brown eyes, a slim build and an olive complexion.

Police and family have concerns for Hayli’s welfare due to her age. She was known to frequent North Geelong, Corio and Norlane, police said.

Police called for public assistance and urged anyone who sees Hayli or has information on her whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.

On 12 June police released a photo of Hayli and her twin sister Willow, then living at Corio, after they went missing in Bell Park on 7 June. The pair were found a few days later.
