Floor lowdown

Floor coverings have been through a few changes over the 50 combined years that owner Ray deMan and sales representative David Dando have been helping their clients with innovative solutions and serving a wide range of commercial as well as domestic clients.
But Freijah Floor Coverings is much more than just carpets, Ray hastens to add.
“We have a large range of blinds for all types of situations and windows, from roller blinds and vertical blinds to shutters,” Ray said.
“We also have a range of the new panel blinds on easy-glide tracks, offering a modern take on vertical blinds and giving a streamlined look to your windows.
“Panel blinds are ideal for sliding doors, allowing the panels to glide into position and stack neatly to one side.”
Panel blinds can be ordered in a range of fabrics, including block-out, light-filtering and sun-screen designs.
Add to that a range of flooring options and Freijah has all new-home or renovation needs well covered.
“Along with a wide selection of carpets and carpet tiles, we have a range of bamboo timber flooring, laminate flooring and the versatile vinyl plank flooring,” Ray said.
Vinyl planks offer a timber look and come in a range of size strips, simply butting up against each other to create a timber-look floor from hard wearing vinyl.
“The great thing is if you damage one vinyl plank, you only replace one instead of having to replace a whole section of vinyl. People are very happy with the system because it’s such low maintenance,” Ray said.
