MEATING PLACE: Chris and Leanne from The Butcher Club at Corio Central.

In the space of three years, The Butcher club has grown from one shop in Altona Meadows to a thriving business that reaches all parts of Melbourne and now Geelong.

Specialising in delicious meats, and pre-prepared dishes, The Butcher Club has travelled down the Princess Freeway and set up shop at Corio Central Shopping Centre and will open another store at Bellarine Village, Newcomb, in the coming weeks.

It’s been a rapid rise for The Butcher Club.

With 17 stores now operating and an 18th on the way, Brad Sloan says Geelong was a logical choice to grow the business.

“We’d like to expand in Geelong as it’s a growing area and we’d love to be part of the community there,” he says.

“We have over 60 years’ experience in the industry across three families.”

The Butcher Club sources only the highest quality meats from free-range meats, chemical-free poultry and market fresh seafood.

The Butcher Club is redefining the butcher-shop experience.

For advice on how to cook that steak on the barbecue or how long to bake that perfect roast, just ask at The Butcher Club. It’s all part of the superior customer service that the team is known for.

So popular has The Butcher Shop become, a Bacchus Marsh store is on the horizon after the grand opening of the Newcomb shop.

“They chase us to be in their shopping centres, we don’t go out and chase them,” he says.

The Butcher Shop always tries to source locally.

“All our beef and lamb is local, our poultry is processed chemical-free and our seafood is all market-fresh daily,” Brad says.

“There’s generations of history in what we do.”
