More room to move

Category: Emerging Business – Under Three Years
Winner: LegRoom

Lee Renton founded LegRoom in 2014 in a one-room office in Yarra Street, himself being the only employee.
Within three years it has outgrown these premises and moved into a large, newly-renovated office in Little Malop Street and employs nine staff.
LegRoom is a digital agency for agencies; providing premium digital services to marketing, creative and advertising agencies.
The business’s team of developers and project managers guide and support agencies in all their digital needs. The staff are all highly-skilled in all aspects of digital technology, creating websites, banners, emails, apps etc and continue to develop their skills to stay at the forefront of the industry.
The team strives to deliver the meaning of the LegRoom’s slogan, ‘Space to Develop’, giving agencies the development team they require without the overheads.
The team doesn’t wor directly with the end businesses, always via agencies in either a silent capacity or a partnership.
Marketing and advertising agencies in Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney and overseas use the service.
LegRoom’s focus is to provide high-standard web development, with the team split between development and account services as an alternative to offshore solutions.
Founding director Lee Renton realised a gap in the market through his own frustrations at finding client standard solutions in Australia and the UK.
LegRoom’s goal is to provide a high standard of digital solution within Australia to combat poor quality offshore options.
The vision for LegRoom is to keep on growing its headquarters in Geelong and to open small offices for servicing clients in Sydney, New Zealand, the UK and eventually the USA, eventually on a 24-hour basis.
