Beauty blushes

Local beauty shop Blush Bar was the winner in the Small Business Four to 10 Employees category at the 2017 Powercor Geelong Business Excellence Awards.
Blush Bar is an exciting new concept in express beautification services. It is a convenient one-stop beauty shop, focusing on catwalk quality make-up and hairstyling.
Guests are invited to sit back, enjoy a glass of champagne and relax as the talented stylists get them red-carpet ready.
Blush Bar was born when founder Emma McFarlane saw a need for affordable, high-quality make-up and hairstyling for special occasions.
Emma was convinced there had to be a better option than traditional hair salons and department store make-up counters but was suprised to find it lacking in Geelong.
After a 12-month market test Blush Bar launched its signature pink studio in October 2014.
Blush Bar is in the business of pretty but its mission is more than just a pretty face.
“The stylists are changing how pretty is done, one lipstick at a time,” Blush Bar says.
“The vision of Blush Bar is to set the standard for exceeding expectations and create an extraordinary experience that builds on empowering women by providing the confidence that comes from great hair and make-up.”
As the only specialist hair and make-up bar in the Geelong region, Blush Bar offers professional stylists, affordable pricing and the convenience of offering an array of services and products including a complete boutique line of exclusive cosmetics.
The shop offers unique, affordable luxury and a truly memorable experience for its clients.
