Getting stuck on personalisation

Winning Business of the Year at the 2019 Geelong Business Excellence Awards meant the world to Carrie Felton because, she says, it wasn’t about her.

The chief executive of Stuck On You, Carrie says the award was an acknowledgement of the fantastic work done by her amazing team.

“The greatest benefit of winning this prestigious award has been for us as a team. It has confirmed for every member of Stuck On You just how great they are at what they do.

“We manufacture quality, functional and fun personalised products that have been embraced by families in more than 120 countries.

“My creative and passionate team of more than 40 brings designs and products to life, and I wanted to enter the awards as a way to show them how much I appreciate them and all they do.”

Carrie, like most of the business award winners, believes putting together the application was very valuable.

“We rediscovered how much we’ve achieved in more than 25 years in the business of personalisation.

‘We started with labels, before evolving and diversifying our product range and designs to become a brand trusted by hundreds of thousands of Australian families for so many reasons – and now across generations. Overall, this process reiterated just how hard we do actually work!”

Carrie also believes the awards provide the opportunity for businesses in Geelong to showcase what they do and how well they do it.

“As a community, Geelong is a hub of creativity and innovation and offers an amazing array of goods and services locally and internationally – and we should celebrate that.”

Stuck On You works on the premise that every child is unique, providing a beautiful personalised product range to help kids and families stay organised, have fun and be sustainable. As Carrie puts it, “It’s all about saving time and money for things that really matter. It doesn’t get more personal than that.”
