Geelong’s cutting-edge specialists in glass and stone

Spring is a great time to freshen your home with new kitchen, bathroom or laundry makeovers using the latest cutting edge innovations in glass and stone products.

The team at Edge Glass and Stone provides quality workmanship and locally manufactures a range of products to cater for the expanding new home and renovations market in Geelong and beyond.

The Geelong facility has been operating for more than 10 years and employs 40 people at its Glass Plant in Riversdale Rd, Newtown.

Local sales representative Brad Frost said custom semi frameless and frameless glass shower screens, painted glass and mirror splashbacks, balastrading, stylish pool fencing and cut-to-size mirrors were all manufactured locally.

“Our stone products are processed in our Brooklyn facility,” he said.

“We have our own line of toughened glass and can also do the painting for splashbacks on-site which provides full service and value for builders, joiners and home renovators,” he said. “There’s an extensive range of colours including mirrors available.”

The Edge Glass and Stone also supplies wardrobes and wardrobe doors, and a wide range of natural and reconstituted stone benchtops for kitchens, ensuites, bathrooms and laundries.

As part of the Baron Forge Group of companies, The Edge Glass works with PazStone and has access to the largest stone processing plant in Victoria with brands including Caesarstone, Silestone and Essastone.

The Edge Glass and Stone works with local builders and joiners as well as one-off home renovator projects or DIY refurbishments.

“The renovation market in Geelong now outweighs new homes for our business. We’re seeing the strongest growth in renovation projects in Geelong West and coastal towns such as Ocean Grove and Torquay where people are freshening up their older homes or young couples are moving into the area.”

“The most popular products at the moment are mirrored splash backs, marble and concrete benchtops in mid-light greys. And matt surfaces are in high demand.

The Edge Glass and Stone offer site delivery, measurement and installation services to builders or pick-up from its Newtown Glass Plant.
