Team comes from family

Category: Family Business Second Generation
Winner: Harcourts North Geelong

It was during the recession of 1991 that Mario Grgic purchased a closing real estate office which he renamed North Geelong Real Estate.
Mario was an immigrant to Australia, arriving in 1965 and beginning a real estate career in 1975.
Mario’s wife, Marie, and daughter, Helena, helped with reception and bookkeeping in the early days.
Mario’s son, Joe, would soon join the family business as the agency went on to build a history of success in northern Geelong.
After continuous growth, the business became Harcourts North Geelong in 2010, ensuring it remained at the forefront of real estate technology while delivering best-practice services.
Harcourts North Geelong is now proudly a third-generation family business, employing 25 staff and engaging the services of many local tradespeople and businesses.
The business specialises in residential sales, property management and commercial sales and leasing.
Harcourts North Geelong knows that successfully buying and selling real estate is about understanding people.
The business plays a significant role in some of the most memorable moments in a person’s life, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, retirements and immigrations to name just a few.
The team believes it is their role to protect clients’ experiences, both financially and emotionally.
Harcourts North Geelong has an unwavering commitment to give back to its community.
Ingrained in the business’s operations and culture are family values and a moral code embraced by the team, who all work with a vision of creating success for anyone involved with Harcourts North Geelong, whether they’re clients, team members or business partners
