Kidzone at the Cape

ARE you ready for the Kidzone Challenge at the Cape Otway Lightstation?
Adults might describe Kidzone as a learning and activity program for primary school aged people. The truth is it’s just good fun for anyone who enjoys a little detective work uncovering the odd mystery.
Other awesome activities during these school holidays include: bush tucker tasting, try some kangaroo or emu, damper making and artwork, all undercover at the interesting Aboriginal cultural site.
Dinosaurs have been discovered along our coastline. Come and find out what makes them so significant.
Want to see some whales? They are always out there this time of year and the lightstation is one of the best vantage points along the southern coast.
There are many other discoveries here at Cape Otway Lightstation for everyone … standing on the lighthouse 90 metres above where the Southern Ocean meets Bass Strait is an awesome experience for everyone.
Visit the restored telegraph station, established 1859. Discover some of Australia’s secret war history at the WWII radar bunker.
For those wanting to stay longer, the accommodation options have something to cater for everyone.
Visit www.lightstation.com and discover what is new online, or phone 5237 9240.
