CORIO’S father-and-son duo Phil and Josh Zdybel have celebrated in South Korea after a quadruple medal haul at a World Taekwondo Champion-ships.
Seven-year-old Josh earned a bronze in a creative patterns category, while his father won silver in seniors heavyweight sparring and bronze in both power breaking and sparring.
The veteran competitor said he was thrilled with his medals but even prouder of Josh.
“We’re both thrilled with our medals and I am now looking forward to competing in Friday’s breaking event,” Phil said.
