A woman faces murder charges after a man died of burns on Sunday following an incident in Whittington the night before.
Arson and Explosives Squad detectives on Monday charged the 33-year-old Whittington woman with murder following the incident.
Police attended an address on Boundary Rd about 8.30pm on Saturday and found a 36-year-old Whittington man with serious burns.
Paramedics rushed the man to hospital but he died on Sunday.
Police arrested the woman and remanded her to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
