A Bellarine police station has been the scene of a suspected arson attack overnight.
It is believed that a flammable liquid was poured outside the Portarlington Police Station on Newcombe Street sometime between 10pm Thursday and 8am this morning.
The station was closed at the time of the incident, which caused minor damage to the front and inside of the building.
A crime scene was established by fire crews and uniformed police, with investigations into the alleged attack ongoing.
