Police have charged a 39-year-old Geelong man over an alleged crime spree involving more than 300 parking machines in central Geelong.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested the man with 29 offences for damaging and stealing from 312 parking meters during the past month.
The man was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court today.
