OG boy goes missing in St Albans Park

A 14-year-old Ocean Grove boy disappeared in St Albans Park last week, prompting police to call for public help to find him.

Dean Machen was last seen at an address in St Albans Park about 12pm last Thursday, police said.

Police and family held concerns for Dean ‘s welfare due to his age and the length of time he had been missing.

Police on Monday morning released an image of Dean in hope someone recognised him and could provide information on his whereabouts.

Dean was known to frequent Breakwater and Drysdale, police said.

They urged anyone who saw Dean or had information on his whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 52253100.
