An 82-year-old man has gone missing at Geelong’s hospital before a medical appointment on Sunday afternoon, according to police.
Tarneit man Michael Galvin went to attend a medical appointment with his wife at University Hospital Geelong and disappeared while she parked the car.
He was last seen walking in a westerly direction along Myers St, near Moorabool St, in Geelong about 1.45pm on Sunday, police said.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and his numerous medical conditions.
Police on Sunday night released an image of Michael in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
They described him as about 182cm tall with a shaved head, glasses and last seen wearing a brown jumper, biege pants and brown shoes.
Police appealed for public assistance to help locate Mr Galvin and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
Geelong police on Monday morning said Mr Galvin was still missing.
