Joseph still missing

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they ramp up their search for missing man Joseph.

The 67-year-old was reported missing after he left his aged care facility on Latrobe Terrace in Geelong on Monday, 23 May.

Police have carried out extensive enquiries including patrols in the area and spoken to people in the community who usually see Joseph but have had no luck locating him.

Investigators have increasing concerns for Joseph’s welfare due to the length of time he’s been missing and his medical condition.

Detectives have released a CCTV image of the last known sighting of Joseph on Moorabool Street, Geelong on 23 May about 11.07am.

Joseph is about 170cm tall, of medium build with a shaved head and facial stubble.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue track pants, black runners and a black peaked cap.

Joseph is known to frequent public parks and gardens in the Geelong and Ocean Grove areas. It is believed he may have gone to Melbourne’s CBD.
