Two arrested after police pursuit

Corio police engaged in a vehicle pursuit which resulted in the arrest of two people in Lovely Banks this morning.

At approximately 2am, officers spotted a green Hyundai which was wanted for multiple offences of evading police.

Police engaged in a pursuit of around 10 minutes in length which ended in Ballan Road.

The pursuit ended when the vehicle became wedged on an embankment while trying to avoid a road works area.

Two women, aged 20 and 26 years old, were arrested at the scene.
