Delays of 15 minutes for Barwon Heads Road

Motorists could face delays of up to 15 minutes on Barwon Heads Rd tomorrow and Wednesday due to resurfacing works, VicRoads has warned.

Alternating lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place from 9am to 3pm between Lings Road and the western edge of Barwon Heads, weather permitting.

VicRoads urged motorists to consider using a signed detour along Thirteenth Beach Road as an alternative.

“Drivers are asked to drive to the conditions and observe the reduced speed limit for their own safety and the safety of workers.”

Real-time traffic conditions are available at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or via the VicTraffic mobile app.
