Corio police have charged a man and a woman following an aggravated burglary in Waurn Ponds on Sunday.
Police found the man and woman sitting in an allegedly stolen car on Bieske Road, in Grovedale, on Monday just after 7am.
After searching the woman police found a credit card allegedly stolen from a Waurn Ponds house the previous day.
They also found a small amount of a white substance believed to be ice.
Police charged a 23-year-old Grovedale man with three counts of theft from a car, two counts of car theft, aggravated burglary, using stolen plates and three counts of obtaining property by deception.
They charged a 29-year-old woman from Grovedale with theft of a motor car and possessing a drug of dependence.
The man and the woman appeared before the Geelong Magistrates’ Court Monday afternoon and both were remanded in custody.
