Oil seals in the natural beauty

A unique oiling system for timber has been developed and manufactured in Geelong since 2003.
Deck-Doc’s technology seals the tannins and natural oils in timber.
This is the natural way to preserve timber and to retain its natural colour.
Director Robert Hyland developed Deck-Doc’s oiling system which sells in select hardware stores and timber merchants throughout Australia.
Deck-Doc has sold to many consumers in the USA and Canada who are impressed with its technology.
International customers are impressed with the natural way to protect timber and the high cost of freight is never a deterrent.
Robert explains that many home owners are unhappy with the coatings they have used and are disappointed with end results.
“The most common problem we get is people complaining about the solid membrane coatings that are cracking and peeling off,” he said.
This type of restoration requires sanding and is a costly process.
Deck-Doc’s lanolin-based product can help eliminate these problems.
Home owners are welcome to visit the factory showroom for tips and advice.
“We can demonstrate our product so people can understand how the different coatings stand up over time as well as the ongoing maintenance required.”
Deck-Doc offers a deck and timber care service to clean, oil and stain timber decks as well as all other outdoor timber structures.
