Health centre’s ‘progressive’

A finalist in the 2018 Geelong Business Excellence Awards’ Emerging Business category, Armstrong Health is a progressive facility offering general, integrative and aesthetics medical treatment with a holistic, preventative focus.

“We are the first medical centre of Armstrong Creek growth area and were registered since September 2016,” the business says in its awards entry.

“We have been providing medical and health services to the growing population of Armstrong Creek , Mount Duneed, Charlemont and surrounding suburbs. Situated strategically on the main Barwon Heads Rd, we provide easy access and filled the void that the region lacked in health services.

“Our aim is to provide a more progressive and holistic approach to health in a high-density growth area. We offer a comprehensive approach to our young families as well as offering specialized women’s health care.”

The facility’s medical services include women’s, child and men’s health, along with comprehensive skin checks and skin cancer treatments, chronic disease and weight-loss management, childhood and travel vaccination, and occupational health.

Services beyond general practice include medical acupuncture, nutritional medicine, integrative health, cosmetic medicine, laser skin treatments and medical aesthetics. Customised, innovative skin treatments are a feature.

“We are equipped with modern medical equipment and utilise the latest technology to facilitate our services,” Armstrong Health says.

“We endeavor to improve customer experience and use services such as online appointments, electronic recall, and reminder systems. We have built a great relationship and work in partnership with our allied health colleagues to achieve optimum health outcomes for our older clientele.”
