Now is a great time to look at planning a future career, getting that dreamed-of qualification and gaining the skills needed for employment.
Lack of funding often stops people from changing careers or upskilling.
Recent exemptions to the VTG eligibility guidelines for not-for-profit Learn Local organisations mean that even those who have previously accessed funded training could be eligible for further funded training with Diversitat Training.
Those who are looking at upskilling their current role or who want to change their career can do so now – but only up until December 2016.
Now is also a great time to consider upskilling, whether it is to take on more responsibility at work, refresh knowledge and skills, and gain further career options or simply to gain recognition for a role already being undertaken in the workplace without any formal qualification.
Diversitat Training is committed to helping people achieve their best and in doing so they can enhance their career path and future employment prospects.
Its qualifications are nationally recognised by employers across Australia and delivered by trainers who are all industry skilled and trained.
Diversitat Training offers accredited courses in growing areas such as early childhood education and care, aged care, community services, including disability, youth work, alcohol and other drugs and mental health and leadership and management.
For those already employed in these areas who are looking to refresh their skills or increase them, Diversitat Training can offer traineeships so that they can study while remaining at work.
With Diversitat Training they are guaranteed to receive training from industry experts who are passionate about the industry they work and train in.
“I am passionate about equality for all, human rights, specifically the right of education,” said one of the trainers Mark Tonzing.
“See the person, see their choices and empower them with knowledge and skills to achieve those choices,” he said.
Mark teaches community services courses at Diversitat Training including community services work, disability, youth work, mental health and alcohol and other drugs.
“I would love for my students to become great client centred workers in their sector of choice where they empower each client to achieve their needs and have the fulfilled life they desire.”
