NEW skates and blades, extra sessions, games, music and lights are all on offer at Rollerway Skate Centre these school holidays.
The indoor centre has ramped up its opening times, adding eleven extra sessions Monday to Friday during the break.
Director Raul Aparicio says the usual night and weekend sessions are still available.
“A lot of kids have such a great time that they keep coming back after the holidays,” he says.
Birthday parties can still be booked during the holiday period.
The three-hour parties include admission, catering, a birthday greeting, roller-skate or rollerblade hire and party bags.
Centre Manager Ashlie Aparicio grew up at the skating centre and now enjoys serving over 10,000 party kids every year.
“It’s so rewarding seeing young children come in to have a bit of fun and turning them into skaters in almost no time,” she says.
“It’s great to see how popular skating has remained over the years – it’s a really fun and safe activity for kids of all ages.”
Standard entry costs just $10 a child, with roller skate and rollerblade hire an extra $3.
Rollerway’s indoor skate park will also be open during the holidays.
Raul invites people to visit the centre’s onsite skate shop, which stocks recreational skates, hockey equipment, roller derby gear and more, and mentioned it was open during any of the skating sessions.
Rollerway Skate Centre is open every day over the holidays at 6-8 Lambert Avenue, Newtown, phone 0411 33 55 44 or visit rollerway.com.au for more information and opening times.
