Finals spot sweet for meringue pair

Little Miss Meringue is celebrating its placing as a finalist in the category for Emerging Business – Under 3 Years at this year’s Powercor Geelong Business Excellence Awards.
The business produces meringues – but not as they’re usually known.
Established in 2015 by Lorelle Chapman and Keryn Lowe, Little Miss Meringue is a micro business that specialises in meringues and all things sweet.
“Our products are made with local free range eggs and with an emphasis on natural, organic flavours and colours,” Lorelle and Keryn explain.
“Our meringues come in over 20 mouth-watering flavours including gin and tonic, passionfruit and organic cacao.
“Since starting our business after the birth of both of our second children, we have increased our product range to include fruit curd, marshmallow, honeycomb, cupcakes, caramel popcorn, macaroons and sweet slices, all with the option of being gluten free. We sell natural baking ingredients such as freeze dried fruit, edible rose petals and natural food gels that are ideal for home bakers.
Lorelle and Keryn say their business now runs regular meringue cooking classes “for those who want to master the meringue”.
“Our products are the perfect sweet treat for special occasions such as weddings, christenings, birthdays and baby showers,” the pair says.
