Education Week: Enrol now for career in hair

THE rolling intake at the Centre of Excellence Hairdressing and Beauty College means anyone keen to start a course can do so right away.
“You don’t have to wait,” says college business development officer Jacqui.
“Once prospective students make a decision to go into hairdressing they can call our reception on 5222 1818 and arrange an enrolment at their convenience.”
The advantage of training at Centre of Excellence Hairdressing and Beauty College is studying in a working salon environment, dealing with the public and being fully prepared for employment.
“By the time students have finished they have learned everything from technique and skills, to reception, customer service and sales ensuring each student is employable immediately,“ Jacqui says.
“We don’t compromise on the quality of the course or the care we take of students as the best way to ensure we produce job-ready graduates.”
All courses at Centre of Excellence Hairdressing and Beauty College are nationally accredited with government funding available for those who qualify.
The centre also has a large number of short courses in a range of health and beauty areas.
Plus, it’s a great salon for members of the public to receive quality services and products at a reduced price, with all students closely supervised by industry experienced trainers.
Centre of Excellence is at 126 Yarra St, Geelong phone 5222 1818.
