Local knowledge on tyres and wheels

WHEN it comes to tyres, there’s not much that Scotty Wolfenden doesn’t know.
And he’s keen to pass along his knowledge to customers of his independent, locally owned and operated, Geelong Tyre and Wheels store at Breakwater.
“I’ve been wholesaling tyres and wheels for 15 years, so I’ve been able to develop an in-depth knowledge of products available,” Scotty says.
“We take the time to talk to our customers, find out what driving they do, have a good look at their tyres on the car and see how they are worn.
“That way we can be sure we recommend the right tyres for the customer, because they are always talking to the people who own and manage the store.”
Geelong Tyre and Wheels carries all major brands, including Pirelli, Bridgestone, Kumho, Maxxis and Kenda.
Not only that, but Scotty is a car enthusiast himself, owning a classic 1966 Ford XP wagon, so he understands the pride and joy that some cars carry for their owners.
Geelong Tyre and Wheels can supply everything needed to turn a four-wheel drive from mild to wild with a full range of lift kits, rims and mud tyres.
The business also offers a full mechanical workshop with brakes, suspension and servicing for all makes and models, without voiding a new car warranty.
All car servicing and mechanical repairs are carried out by fully qualified mechanics using quality parts at very competitive prices.
Geelong Tyre and Wheels is just up the road from Coffee Cartel at 37 Leather Street, Breakwater, phone 5221 1856.
