The aim of Extra Depth footwear is to provide the most comfortable, stylish footwear that includes the correct width, depth or, if required, adjustments and alterations to ensure the perfect fit.
There are beautiful shoes and sandals from Germany, England and America all medical grade with different widths and depths to fit everyone.
Extra Depth Footwear also keeps a range of adjustable comfort slippers or ‘house shoes’ and a range of seamless socks which are ideal for diabetic and arthritic feet.
Extra Depth’s new brand is Ahnu which is a casual, walking shoes for both men and women of all ages. There are some examples of these pictured in its advertisement along with its new active lifestyle footwear in great fashion colours.
Extra Depth Footwear manager Heather Jennings is a certified retail pedorthist and, together with orthotist Kristin McCann can provide personal fitting experiences for all customers.
Appointments are advised for prompt service.
Extra Depth Footwear has close working relationships with podiatrists, doctors and health care professionals.
It is also a registered medical grade footwear provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs, NDIS, SWEP, TAC and Workcover.
It provides services to Barwon Health University Hospital and private hospitals and nursing homes and provides clinics at Ballarat every month and Warrnambool every six weeks which always has an orthotist for professional consultations.
