New courses at Health Republic

Health Republic have launched two new 12-month courses due to start in time for Term 1 next year.
In partnership with the widely recognised Federation Training, Health Republic are offering a Diploma of Business and a fitness course which combines a Certificate III and IV with a Diploma of Business.
Both courses help provide students with the level of training required to find employment and pathways to bachelor degrees.
The Diploma of Business is tailored for those looking to update their skills within the industry such as the likes of a personal trainer, masseuse or nutritionist, as well as for those who simply want to obtain a business credential.
Students have the option of attending three hours of classes two days a week or undertaking six hours in the one day, to balance work and other commitments.
The fitness-oriented course on the other hand serves as the perfect pathway for young adults and recent Year 12 graduates who have an interest in fitness and may still be unsure about what they wish to pursue.
This course runs between three to five hours across four days each week, with the ability for students to catch up on classes missed via an online student portal. Graduates will then have the option of becoming a qualified personal trainer among other roles.
Business development officer Estha Kondos says the courses are conducted at Grovedale Secondary College.
“The college has just recently had new fitness equipment installed at their on-site gym, which facilitates the practical component of the fitness course,” Ms Kondos says.
“While other gym fitness courses might only be based in the classroom and students would be required to source their own work experience, for our course everything is there for you.
“Students will have hands on, practical experience at the gym and receive an automatic membership after registering for the course.”
Health Republic is also affiliated with the Australian Cricket College based in Melbourne.
Registrations are now open for next year. Phone 5241 5599 or email info@healthrepublic.com.au. For more information, visit www.healthrepublic.com.au
