Vascular laser bar raised

It’s the rolls royce of vascular lasers – and it’s at Australian Skin Face Body.
The Vbeam Perfecta Laser is safe, pain-free and the most effective laser treatment yet for treating redness in the skin.
Dermal clinician, Rebecca Harrison, says the laser can treat a range of conditions including rosacea, “broken” capillaries on the face, nose and legs, and a range of other vascular lesions.
“Many women and men suffering from general redness of the face and neck, such as rosacea, are seeing this treatment as a blessing. The Vbeam is presenting them with an alternative to manage the condition and we are seeing excellent results,” says Rebecca.
The wavelength of light used is absorbed by the colour red, making it the ideal treatment for vascular lesions in the skin. The gentle burst of light is attracted to the blood vessels causing the vessel to close, allowing for optimal results.
The Vbeam can also be used to treat mild acne scarring. In the early stages of healing, lesions are often still inflamed and red, it is at this stage that the Vbeam laser can help to reduce the inflammation and redness seen in such condition as acne scarring and even stretch marks.
The laser has a special cooling system to minimise discomfort during treatment and reduce side effects by protecting the top layers of the skin. Patients may feel a warming or tingling sensation during the treatment. After treatment a sensation similar to mild sunburn is felt.
Factors such as age, colour, type of lesion and where it is located will determine whether lesions such as port-wine stains and stretch marks can be effectively treated.
“The Vbeam really is the rolls royce of lasers and we are pleased so many patients are getting excellent results from the treatment,” Rebecca says.
