A 22-YEAR-old Elaine man is in a stable condition after being shot in Corio last night.
Paramedics were called to Cox Road just after 9.30pm after reports that a man had been shot.
The injured man was treated at the scene and taken to Geelong Hospital, where he is in a stable condition.
It is believed that he was shot in the leg.
Police investigations are continuing.
