Buckets and bouquets

Bouquets to Never Again, who bucketed a motoring-servicing business (Buckets & Bouquets, 6 February). It must be the same place that charged me $150 for a service my car never received. The place where I bought the car said the oil and oil filter were not changed.
Pensioner, East Geelong

Bouquets to a wonderful lady who found my handbag in a trolley at Corio Shopping Centre on 12 March. I’m grateful and in awe of your honesty. May good karma follow you.
Veronica, North Geelong

Buckets to a real estate agent who advised me to spend thousands of dollars on marketing but who failed to sell my house in his so-called “buyers’ market”. We were promised the stars but delivered something closer to the vicinity of our toilet.
Going Going Gone, Highton

Bouquets to Westfield Geelong cleaner Wendy for kindly taking the time to post me some lost paperwork. It was greatly appreciated.
Andrew, Ocean Grove

Bouquets to Waterjet Cutting for wonderful service when designing and making our beautiful steel garden plaques. Special thanks to Sandy for all the great ideas.
Judy, Corio

Bouquets to the wonderfully kind Emma and her beaut son. They saw I had forgotten my wallet at a Coles self-serve, quickly paid for my groceries and refused to accept my offers of eventual payment. Their kindness really showed generosity is contagious and makes a positive difference.
Charlie, Ocean Grove

Bouquets to Vietnam veterans Rieny Nieuwenhof and Graeme Unmack for their hospitality and assistance with our recent yacht club dinner at Osborne House. All our members had a great night.
Secretary, Geelong Trailable Yacht Club

Buckets to City of Greater Geelong for inadequate communication regarding a rabbit poisoning program for Beacon Point Reserve. Few residents received notices of intent and many who bring their dogs to the reserve would have been unaware of the danger. Also, no warning signs were posted at the reserve’s entrances.
Leah, Clifton Springs

Bouquets to South Barwon Computers for exceptional after-sales service. The patience, professionalism, willingness to help and good humour they display make life with my computer so much easier.
Isabel, Newtown

Buckets to Joy for stereotyping smokers (Buckets & Bouquets, 27 March). Instead of implying all smokers are “stupid and ignorant”, you should use the rule applied to tattoos: not everyone with a tattoo is an idiot but all idiots have tattoos.
Non-Tattooed Non-Smoker, Torquay

Bouquets to a pair of ladies who helped our mum after she fell the other week and stayed with her until an ambulance arrived. They were angels sent from heaven.
Carmel and Mary, Belmont

Bouquets to CJ Turner Plumbing’s Corey. He was punctual, polite, well-priced and an all-round nice guy. His magnet is now on my fridge.
Nicci, Corio

Buckets to Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey, the worst Prime Minister and Treasurer Australia have seen. They are unpatriotic and selling out Australia. Aussie businesses are dead forever. Australians have had enough.
Personal Vendetta, Geelong
