Great ideas for mum at Heights Sewing Centre

ANYONE with a mum who loves to sew but unsure what she needs will find the right advice at Heights Sewing Centre.
Heights team leader Tracey Zinn always has gift suggestions up her sleeve.
“If she loves patchwork and quilting, the AccuQuilt GO! cutter will help her save time cutting out shapes and strips,” Tracey says.
For anyone who just wants to make their mum more comfortable, Tracey suggests a Horn Sewing Chair, on sale from $199 to $179.
For a new sewing machine, Heights has one for every mum from prices starting at $179.
Brands in-store include Berina, Janome, Husqvarna Viking, Handiquilter and Babylock.
Anyone buying a new overlocker or sewing machine will receive for their mum a free lesson at Heights to learn how to use the unit to its fullest potential.
The store also stocks a great range of ladies’ handkerchiefs from popular brands Rosdale and Armando Caruso.
Tracey suggests a new sewing box or a nice pair of scissors could also make the cut on Mothers Day.
Established since 1935, Heights Sewing Centre prides itself on “good old-fashioned customer service”, Tracey says.
“We help people in every way we can and if we haven’t got the product in our vast range of haberdashery we will try sourcing it.”
Heights also has a large service and repair centre at 5 Candover Street, Geelong West. Industry qualified technicians are available 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday by phoning 5229 5567.
Height’s Sewing Centre is at 176 Pakington St, Geelong West, phone 5229 3558, and new premises at 1/63 Synnot St, Werribee, phone 8742 6238.
