Success in the planning

Established in 2017 by its three directors, Plan Group Geelong provides commercial management services to a host of sectors – solely within the Greater Geelong region.

These include the healthcare, aged care, education, hospitality, retail, government, community, and commercial sectors.

General Manager Jarod Mason says the Plan Group team has the expertise to deliver all projects, from small scale fit out and complex refurbishment projects to large multi-level new build constructions.

The move to Geelong followed on the success the company achieved in its Melbourne-based operations, launched five years earlier.

“We have a fully operational office in Malop Street, which is much bigger than our former premises,” Jarod says. “We refurbished the office and it’s now a funky open-plan space with different areas in which to gather.

“And local artist, Danielle Webber, created a fantastic mural wall in tribute to Geelong.

“Our professional team of 15 includes project managers, contract administrators, site managers and support staff – and they have all the experience needed to deliver all types of projects.

Jarod adds that their experience in understanding what’s important to clients translates to a smooth operation.

“We can customise a project delivery methodology, with the focus on delivering to their expectations.

“Our primary focus is to establish relationships and deliver works with minimal interruption to our client’s operations, managed and supported by a team with local knowledge and experience.”

A socially progressive company, Plan Group Geelong is a Geelong Chamber of Commerce member, as well as a compact signatory for GROW, a joint initiative of the G21 Regional Alliance and Give Where You Live Foundation.
