Highton shoppers enjoy the convenience of a new look Woolworths store

Highton locals have a reason to get excited because the new look Woolworths Barrabool Hills Plaza store has completed its renovations.

Woolworths Barrabool Hills store manager, Rajib Saha said; “We’re pleased to be able to offer a convenient new look full range supermarket for our customers, giving local shoppers a better shopping experience and providing all their grocery and fresh food needs in our updated store.“

“The new look supermarket is designed with the local customer at the forefront and we are pleased that the enhancements will offer local residents a great shopping experience, enhanced fresh offer and the convenience they are looking for.“

Amongst the key features at Woolworths Barrabool Hills Plaza, customers can expect to access a new Direct To Boot service with dedicated parking bays for online shoppers, a full production bakery and in-store meat specialists to help decide on cuts of meats and how to prepare, cook and serve to ensure a fresh and delicious meal.

The new Direct To Boot service is ideal for those shoppers looking for a fast, convenient and contactless way to collect their groceries, while maintaining social distance. This new service allows customers to order groceries online and have Woolworths personal shoppers pick it for them in-store. Customers confirm when they’ve arrived in one of the dedicated parking bays via the Woolworths app or SMS link. This will notify the store team, who will then pack the order directly into the customer’s boot, contactless, with no additional charge.

The new look store will offer a wide range of checkout options for customers, with a flexible new register format that supports both self-serve and team member operation, staffed checkouts at the service desk and self-serve kiosks.

The new look store is open from 7am to 10pm daily and is located in the Barrabool Hills Plaza, 36 Province Boulevard, Highton.
