Proud history with awards

Leading Geelong brokerage firm Roderick Insurance Brokers (RIB) has again thrown its support behind the region’s premier business awards.

RIB hopes its fifth year sponsoring the Geelong Business Excellence Awards inspires other local businesses to do the same despite the difficulties many businesses have faced this year.

Managing director and owner Keith Roderick says the awards have helped RIB elevate its brand.

“We’re big supporters of the awards and were very keen to continue our association after the tough time businesses have experienced across the region this year,” Keith says.

RIB joined the GBEA Hall of Fame in 2015 after category wins in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

“The first award was a turning point. It was a very exciting moment because it was the first major award we’d received.”

The locally owned family-run business has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry and is an iconic brand across Geelong. With offices in Geelong and Werribee, RIB employs 36 staff and is one of the largest regional brokerages in Australia.

“RIB provides highly personalised insurance advice to ensure clients make the right insurance decisions,” Keith continues. “We feel really humbled that so many people in Geelong choose to insure with us.”
