Huntress wins retail

Category: Retail Business

Winner: Huntress Hair Religion

Huntress Hair Religion is designed for the comfort of clients, says owner Caitlin Menzel.

The salon delivers great individual service along with “a luxury experience from the moment they enter until they bounce out the door looking and feeling amazing”, she says.

“The awesome hair doesn’t end in the salon. It’s our guarantee to give our clients the tools, products and knowledge to recreate that salon-style between appointments.”

Caitlin says staff education is a primary focus of Huntress Hair Religion, which employs seven apprentices.

The salon invests three per cent of its revenue into the training and growth of its qualified team, she explains.

“Our industry’s always evolving and growing, so it’s paramount our team feels inspired and excited while keeping at the forefront of our industry.

“We love leading the way for our industry and locally too, with initiatives such as our sustainability practices, endorsing cruelty-free products, and sponsorship.

“We are also the most-awarded salon in Geelong and pride ourselves on our outstanding online presence.”

Caitlin says Huntress Hair Religion is “so much more” than a hairdresser, with retailing of products also important to the business.

“Our brand has been built on going the extra mile to exceed the expectations of clients, which we do.

“We ‘e constantly adapting and introducing new technologies and techniques to meet the demands of the market, and we aren’t afraid to try new things.”
