“With a range of options tailored to specific needs, Barwon Health services provide a rounded and community-oriented approach to wellbeing and lifestyle.

Barwon Health has more than 400 residential aged care beds that incorporate ageing in place, mental health, dementia and respite.

“Our teams of qualified, skilled and compassionate staff work collaboratively with residents to meet their needs, as well as the needs of their family thanks to our residential aged care program supporting the best nurse/patient ratios in Victoria,” a spokesperson says.

“We’re able to offer a range of specialised support staff, including an aged care/palliative nurse practitioners, wound nurse practitioner, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, podiatrists, social workers, pastoral and spiritual care coordinator and lifestyle officers.”
