Indy delivers record result for Geelong business awards

Geelong’s only community newspaper is again promoting the Deakin University Geelong Business Excellence Awards after helping deliver record nominations and entries in 2017.
“Last year was our first as print sponsor and nominations tripled,” says Indy managing director Tony Galpin.
“That led to a record field of entries and the largest presentation night in the awards’ history.
“The only difference in the media sponsorships between 2017 and previous years was the Indy’s involvement.
“We have by far the biggest circulation of any local paper along with a full online presence.
“Anything promoted in the Indy gets more eyeballs. It’s as simple as that.”
The Indy offers the region’s biggest and best combination of print and online promotion through the paper edition delivered on Fridays along with its website, E-paper and social media accounts.
The Indy cleverly utilises each platform for special promotions, giving partners a media reach unmatched in the Geelong region.
“We’re fully print and digital, and both free to readers,” Mr Galpin explains.
“Nobody locally matches us on the way we combine our assets on behalf of our partners.
“Anyone wanting to be a winner, like the business excellence awards, should talk with the Indy.”
Advertisers can phone the Indy on 5249 6700, visit its office on the first floor of 74-78 Moorabool St, Geelong, email indy@geelongindy.com.au, or message the paper via Facebook or Twitter.
