Clawbaby Pet Services was a finalist in the Micro Business 1-3 Employees category at the Powercor Geelong Business Excellence Awards.
Created in 2013, Clawbaby Pet Services was established by a true animal lover, passionate about creating a world where people and animals live together in harmony.
Clawbaby is about providing quality, professional pet care, based in the Geelong region.
The services’ primary focus is on dogs but Clawbaby says it doesn’t discriminate.
“Whether they have fur, scales or feathers, they all fit into the Clawbaby family – animals are our passion, helping people is a bonus.”
Clawbaby Pet Services is a mobile business, with all pet care provided in the owner’s home.
Clawbaby owner Susie Blair says the benefits of the mobile concept include “the animal staying in the familiarity of their natural environment, with all their own creature comforts”.
“The Clawbaby focus is on quality, professional service,” she says.
“We treat every animal in our care, as our own and have undergone a high level of training to ensure optimum care is provided. All certifications undertaken are government accredited and the business is fully insured.”
Susie says all individuals working for her business also undergo police checks.
Clawbaby Pet Services’ goal is to be the market leader in the Geelong region.
The business is aiming to expand with pet-walking contractors and continual training and development, Susie says.
