South West Training Services is a not-for profit, community-based organisation with a track record in delivering innovative solutions to student training needs.
The company, presently based in Hoppers Crossing, is about to open in Geelong, offering another avenue to nationally recognised qualifications.
As a registered training organisation, South West Training offers a team of professional, dedicated trainers and all courses offered are nationally recognised and meet all statutory requirements.
Director Jurgen Wiesner said the company was formed in 2003 with a passionate commitment to positively impact their local community.
“We are seeing this achieved, one life at a time, by providing high quality vocational education and training courses,” Mr Wiesner said.
“Put simply, we are here to equip people for success. By helping trainees develop personal skills, knowledge and confidence, we have over the past 14 years, seen hundreds of students achieve their dreams.
“We are also incredibly honoured and proud to be a finalist in the Wyndham Business Awards for 2017.”
A completion rate of over 90 per cent and employment rate of over 70 per cent are testimony to the company’s successful track record in providing top quality training with a special focus on early childhood education care and business courses.
The company is currently looking for new premises in Geelong.
“At this point, we are in the perfect position to expand the level of our influence, and believe that Geelong will greatly benefit from what we have to offer,” Mr Wiesner said.
