Miracle orange peel powder

Horse trainers have long fed vitamin C to their steeds to keep them healthy, says veteran Bendigo horseman Michael Coulter.
But Michael says his Cejuvenate orange peel powder can treat the symptoms of both high cholesterol and diabetes – in humans.
For the last six years his 81-year-old father Fred has been a walking, breathing experiment for the powder.
Fred, a type 2 diabetic of 30 years, had suffered muscle cramps due to the condition restricting his blood flow.
“I was buying vitamin C for my horses from America, and I had the idea of making some orange peel powder myself,” Michael says.
“Dad just thought he’d try some. A few weeks later, he noticed he was starting to feel better.”
Three teaspoons a day for the last six years and Fred’s symptoms are all but gone, according to Michael.
“The doctor actually said to him there had been an improvement in his circulation. He’s never been better.”
Cejuvenate is now producing a quarter of tonne of powder from Australian oranges each week, available at health stores in Bendigo, Ballarat, Mildura and Swan Hill.
“I’m the only one in Australia who makes orange peel in Australia,” Michael says.
“It’s just grown and grown. When people realise how good it is, they tell others and they start using it too.”
Michael has a number of testimonials on the effectiveness of his powder.
“It works best on diabetics; it improves their circulation, decreases blood sugar levels and relieves cramps,” he says.
Just recently he expanded the business to Geelong, and is now selling the powder exclusively at Diversitat Wholefoods in the city’s CBD.
According to Cejuvenate’s website, the powder can treat abdominal bloating, nausea, high blood pressure, cholesterol and arthritis due to its high levels of hesperidin and antioxidants.
Its anti-inflammatory properties can help cancer and arthritis sufferers and can even have benefits for dogs and horses, Michael says.
