POLICE are currently at the scene of a fatal collision involving a car and a utility in Wingeel.
Investigators believe the Mitsubishi utility was travelling east along Hamilton Highway when it collided with a west-bound van around 2.50pm.
The male passenger of the van died at the scene while the male driver was airlifted to Melbourne with serious injuries.
The male driver of the Mitsubishi utility suffered critical injuries and will be airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are enroute to the scene.
