Building a future for Geelong

As Victoria’s No 1 Builder, Sherridon Homes is proud to have deep roots in Geelong and the surrounding region, an area where growth and community spirit continue to thrive.

Our commitment to the region has never been stronger, and today, our Sherridon Homes Geelong operation stands as one of the most significant pillars of our business.

With a fully resourced team of 26 local staff, our Geelong Sherridon Homes office brings together a wealth of industry experience all under one roof. Every team member lives locally, understands the unique characteristics of the region, and takes pride in building quality homes for our clients at an affordable price.

This local expertise allows us to deliver a more personal, seamless, and responsive building experience, because for us, it’s not just about building homes, it’s about contributing to the community we’re part of.

Under the leadership of general manager Troy Shaw, our Geelong presence has grown into a powerhouse of regional capability. Troy, a born-and-bred local, is a registered building practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience delivering homes throughout Geelong, Surf Coast and Western Victoria. His deep understanding of the local market and hands-on approach ensures every home is built with the quality, craftsmanship, and care that Sherridon Homes is known for.

We’re seeing a consistent increase in new home sales across the Geelong and Surf Coast over the past six months, a positive indicator that confidence is returning to the new-house market. Our clients are once again planning, dreaming, and making long-term decisions, and we’re incredibly proud to be the builder they trust to turn those plans into reality.

To support this growing demand and to strengthen our long-term commitment to the Geelong region, construction will soon begin on our new purpose-built office located along Melbourne Road in Rippleside.

This space is designed to bring our team, our customers, and our community partners even closer together. With construction starting early in the new year, we cannot wait for this project to come to life. The new Geelong office will act as a central hub for innovation, collaboration, and customer support.

This exciting period of growth also comes at a significant moment for our wider business. As we evolve to meet the future needs of Victorian homebuyers, we are proud to introduce Mirrastone, formerly known as AHB Group.

Mirrastone unifies eight specialised businesses, each bringing its own resources, expertise, and strengths together under one strong parent company. This alignment allows us to deliver even greater value, consistency, and confidence to every customer, ensuring a more streamlined and elevated experience from start to finish.

With a strong local foundation in Geelong and the launch of Mirrastone shaping our next chapter, we’re building more than homes – we’re building a stronger future for Victorian families, one community at a time.
