West Melbourne and Geelong residents protested at Richard Marles’ office on Wednesday to call on him to ‘Fund Our Futures, Not Gas’.
Members of the Pacific Climate Warriors Victoria and 350 West Melbourne groups created a chalk mural on the pavement outside Mr Marles office in Geelong, depicting the impacts of climate change.
The group also delivered the results of community consultation that found the majority of Corio constituents want to see funding for renewable energy and climate solutions, not new gas projects.
