A woman will face court today over a fatal collision that claimed the life of a six-year-old boy in Teesdale earlier this year.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives charged an 84-year-old Teesdale woman following the young boy’s death on 27 March.
It is alleged that the boy was hit by a vehicle as he was walking to school on Bannockburn-Shelford Road and died at the scene.
The vehicle involved allegedly left the scene and was later located at an address in Teesdale.
The Teesdale woman was charged with a failures to stop, render assistance and report a collision.
She was bailed and will appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court today (28 November).
