Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing in Geelong this morning.
Officers were called to reports a man was located with a stab wound on Little Malop Street about 5.30am.
Investigators believe the man sustained the injury during an altercation nearby.
A 20-year-old Corio man was taken to hospital where he later died.
It is understood two other men involved in the altercation self-presented at a hospital and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated and investigations remain ongoing.
