Two teenage girls have been arrested following a fire in Corio overnight.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Bacchus Marsh Road after flames were seen coming from a bedroom of a residence around 11.30pm.
The pair, aged 14 and 15, from the Greater Geelong area, were found nearby and arrested.
The girls have both been charged with criminal damage by fire (arson), recklessly cause injury and unlawful assault.
They have been summonsed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
