Four wanted

Geelong police are appealing for information about three separate thefts from local retailers.

Police alleged a man stole a pair of Ray Ban aviator-style sunglasses worth $285 from Westfield Geelong’s Sunglasses Hut at 3:30pm on 24 September.

He tried on the sunglasses before putting them in his pocket and leaving the store, police said.

A second man allegedly stole two jackets worth $250 each from Malop St’s Kathmandu on 1 October, police alleged.

The third alleged theft involved a man and woman taking a “large quantity” of clothes from a shop on the Bellarine Highway at Leopold around 5pm on 30 October.

The offenders, both believed to be in their 30s, fled on foot without paying for the items, police said.

Police described the female as medium built with blond hair and left-arm tattoos. She was wearing an aqua singlet and black pants.

Police described the male as thinly built with dark hair and right lower-leg tattoos. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and a black cap.

Investigators released images of a woman and three men they believed could “assist” with the investigations.

Police asked anyone with information to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report crimestoppersvic.com.au.
